Author Biography

  • Torsten Roeder

    studied musicology and Italian Literature and Linguistics in Hamburg, Rome and Berlin.

    At the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences, he supervised numerous digitally oriented projects that dealt with the exploitation of historical personal data and digital editions. Working also as a freelancer, he implemented the database of "Glossarium Graeco-Arabicum" at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

    Currently he is working at the Institute for Music Research at the University of Würzburg in the field of hybrid edition.
