Analytical Concepts

Entangled Religions asks authors to integrate analytical concepts into their articles to allow abstracting from the specific case study and enable comparability across different case studies. The journal offers possible concepts based on the Working Paper Series developed at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg (KHK) Dynamics in the History of Religions between Asia and Europe (2008–2022), which reflects the conceptual discussions within the research team.

We invite authors to engage them as they see fit—whether as a source of inspiration or a reason for critique—in their contributions. Alternatively, authors are welcome to introduce other analytical concepts which allow abstraction and comparability.
