Analytical Concepts

Entangled Religions asks authors to integrate guiding concepts into their articles to allow abstracting from the case study at hand and enable comparability across different case studies. The journal offers a list of possible concepts, based on the Working Paper Series developed at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg (KHK) Dynamics in the History of Religions between Asia and Europe, which reflect the ongoing conceptual discussions within the research team. We encourage authors to engage them as they see fit – whether as a source of inspiration or a reason for critique – in their contributions. Alternatively, authors may introduce other analytical concepts which allow abstraction and comparability.
